Haddington House Nursery Terms and Conditions
In these Terms and Conditions "the nursery" is Haddington House Nursery, 50 Haddington Crescent and the "parents" are the parent(s), guardian(s), carer(s) or responsible person for any child attending the Nursery.
Signature of this form confirms understanding and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Enrolment Form must be signed and returned to the Nursery on your child's first day.
PAYMENT OF FEES
• Returnable deposits of two weeks fees are required to secure your place at Haddington House Nursery.
• Fees are required to be paid one week in advance. Fees must be paid in full the first day of each week your child attends the Nursery.
• Fees are payable all year round whether your child attends the Nursery or not.
• Fees will be reviewed on an annual basis and parents will be given a weeks notice of any changes.
• Fees can be paid by cash or cheque.
• Your child's place may be withdrawn if you do not pay his/her fees.
NOTICE OF REMOVAL
• Haddington House requires four weeks notice in writing if you wish to withdraw from this contract.
• You are liable for all fees during the period of notice.
• If you cannot give us four weeks notice, we regret that we will be unable to return the deposit.
• If your child's presence at the Nursery is harmful to their own or another child's well-being, we reserve the right to withdraw your child's place. In these circumstances, we will waver the period of notice but regret we will be unable to return your deposit.
• Haddington House Nursery reserves the right to exclude any child whose behaviour cannot be controlled by Nursery staff.
• The Nursery may give notice if fees are not paid.
• Haddington House Nursery must be contacted if your child is to be absent from Nursery. If not, we may contact you ourselves, unexplained absences may result in your place being withdrawn.
ILLNESS
• Children attending Haddington House Nursery must be fully immunised.
• The Nursery must be informed if your child has been in contact with infectious diseases.
• Please inform the Nursery if your child will be absent and when they will return to Nursery.
• Children will not be able to attend Nursery if they are deemed by the Nursery to be unwell.
• If your child becomes unwell during the day, you will be asked to collect them from Nursery.
• Medicines cannot be given to children unless prescribed for them by a Doctor.
If your child has had sickness and/or diarrhoea, we regret that they cannot attend Nursery until a period of 48 hours has passed.
• Please inform us if your child requires any medical equipment, such as Inhalers or EpiPens.
• In the event that your child requires emergency medical attention, the named First Aid person will attend to your child while staff contacts yourself. If necessary, we may need to seek emergency medical assistance which may require us to contact an ambulance and a member of staff will accompany your child with the necessary details.
COLLECTION
• We expect parents to make every effort to collect their children on time.
• Children will not be permitted to leave the building with an unknown adult or a minor under 16 years of age.
• Children will not be permitted to leave the building with anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol drugs.
• If parents are unable to collect their child, they must inform the Nursery of who will be collecting the child. The Nursery staff should know this person. If not, parents will be contacted to verify the information.
CHANGE OF DETAILS
Parents are required to inform the Nursery of any change address, phone numbers, and circumstances.
• Parents must provide two additional emergency contact numbers for their child.
• Parents must ensure that they come into the Nursery at least once so that staff will recognise them.
CLOTHING
• Children should be appropriately dressed for Nursery and weather conditions.
• Children should bring a change of clothing.
LOSS/DAMAGE
• Items of value should be marked with the child's name.
• The Nursery cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to clothing and property.
• Children should be encouraged to leave personal belongings at home and should not bring toys or money into the Nursery.
